In what is all set to become a social-media storm between supporters of Congress and the Left, and possibly even a political slugfest, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Wednesday tweeted out a set of pictures showing how leaders behave under different political ideologies.
In a tweet in which he remarked, “The difference between capitalist systems & Communist rulers. People's democracy in action in rainy Kerala!”, he attached pictures of the Pope and Obama holding an umbrella for themselves during rains, but assistants holding the umbrella for CM Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan.
It is not known as to when these pictures of taken, and is understood that the MP could have tweeted it out in jest.
